Following the announcement that President Trump tested positive for COVID-19, reports tell us that he is receiving Regeneron’s monoclonal antibody, which is not yet FDA-approved, in addition to zinc, vitamin D, famotidine, melatonin and aspirin as a daily preventative. The president is presumably receiving the best medical care available, and this regimen includes natural medicine. It is scandalous that federal agencies are gagging doctors who dare to mention the benefits of these vital medicines for COVID-19 prevention and treatment.
President Trump’s regimen does not seem to include hydroxychloroquine or quercetin. We’ve reported in the past that quercetin and hydroxychloroquine work by helping get zinc into cells. High concentrations of zinc inside cells inhibit the replication of RNA viruses such as COVID-19, but due to zinc’s other characteristics, cells do not typically tolerate high levels of this mineral. Since Trump took hydroxychloroquine before, is he taking it without mentioning it?
The inclusion of melatonin is interesting. Research suggests that it may be useful as a preventative, and there is good research behind it as an anti-inflammatory that is rarely mentioned; an exception is Frank Shallenberger MD, prominent natural medicine doctor, who has recommended it.
The doctors added remdesivir to the treatment list after the first list of treatments mentioned above was released. Why was it added? Could there have been a fear that if it were not included it would spoil the commercial prospects of the drug? We know that the drug failed to cure in trial although it was found to shorten hospital stay by three days.
It is shameful that the president’s own doctors include a number of natural medicines like vitamin D in his treatment regimen, but federal agencies block us from learning about these treatments. Studies show, for example, that COVID-19 deaths correlate almost perfectly with vitamin D level, yet the FDA and FTC have sent warning letters to doctors and individuals who share basic information about the ability of vitamin D to help prevent or treat COVID-19. If we have any hope of improving healthcare in this country, this arrangement needs to change.

Everyone would be much healthier using alternative medicine. I did my own research 20 years ago for asthma. The doctor said by my age 50 I will be on a breathing machine. I proved the doctor wrong. I am off all asthma meds 19 years. I am so much healthier

Yes, wondering why HCQ was not in the list of medications given. Maybe since President Trump had been taking it it was in his system? He seems to have gotten the works for remedies to beat COVID quickly. Wishing President Trump stays healthy. Good that Vitamin D was listed as one of his treatments. Great if Pres. Trump could get the FDA to approve Vitamin D and Zinc and also lower the price and availability for these natural cures and remdesivir so anyone could afford it and be given it who needs it.

You may want to take a look at the video that President Trump posted yesterday on his Twitter account, where he states that he was the one that suggested Remdesivir to his doctors. He was the one that wanted to take it, because he had heard good things about it.

I don’t know if you’re aware, but President Trump is going to be guest hosting The Rush Limbaugh Show tomorrow (Friday 12Noon-3pm) and taking questions that have been emailed ahead of time. You may want to consider submitting your question(s) to him ahead of time and who knows, maybe he’ll answer them. From what I read, you can submit your questions via Rush Limbaugh’s website or via his facebook page.

Stop blocking access to natural treatments that generally cannot go through FDA approval when it is well known that the most knowledgeable allopathic doctors (like those treating the President) almost always incorporate natural supplements, such as Vitamin D, zinc and melatonin into their Covid treatment regimen. Thanks for letting us know that much of the President’s treatment was with natural nutritional supplements. The MSM doesn’t appear to be willing to mention anything but his Remdesivir and the antibody therapy. On top of that, Yahoo News just had to remark that Trump’s doctor wasn’t a “real MD”, just a DO — Doctor of Osteopathy. In my experience DO’s tend to be fine open-minded physicians.
The President’s regimen of little sleep may have been augmented by the Melatonin. It’s a wonder he stays as mentally sharp and healthy as he does, as little as he reportedly sleeps!

Multiple studies show that plant sources help in many medical conditions. Double blind studies are too expensive to perform. If a plant source is not dangerous in a designated dosage, then it should be allowed, and the studies backing it up should be allowed to be stated.
Thank you Mr Schaefer. As it so happens, there are many double blind studies about natural remedies . More recently, Pubmed is being scrubbed even of many of those. I went to Pubmed to search Vitamin D plus immunity, well over 10,000 appeared. The following week, there were only 5,000. The same thing happened with regard to Vitamin C plus immunity. Are those behind this, the people we should trust with our wellbeing? They approve medications with side effects that include coma, seizure, death but then they call the naturopaths the quacks. It is time to turn the tables!

I’m sure Colloidal Silver would have cured it in a jiffy. I know you can’t mention that, nor can doctors, or you (they) will be banned. I had the regular flu a few years ago and C/S annihilated it in 1 and 1/2 days, taking it every 2 or 3 hours during waking hours. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg!

Natural remedies have worked in this country since its founding and earlier. Yes, Native Americans used them well. I am part immigrant and part Native.
No one has the right to remove natural elements made by God from our healthcare. They should be funded like any other medicine. After all, aspirin came from Willow Bark. Many medicines came from natural substances.

Natural medicine treatments that are safe and effective need to be available to the public. There is too much control of our healthcare by big pharma and its toxic, expensive “medicines” … President Trump has shown that non-pharma treatments are safe, non-toxic, effective, and often less expensive than big pharma drugs. Preventing people from making their own educated decisions and deciding what treatments they want is nothing but a political and financial scam that AMA, pharmaceuticals, insurance companies and the FDA are in cahoots about. We live in the most free country in the nation and yet, we are really not free to make many of our own decisions about health and wellness. It’s so sad.
1) the report of the President’s treatment said that there was no evidence that the natural treatments work. It did not mention that the is no economic incentive to spend amounts needed to conduct trials which would produce such evidence.
2) On a different topic, it is very disturbing that the magazine Consumer Reports is now taking positions against natural supplements.

I had a moderate case of COVID in May, was sick with fever, bad headache first 10 days, chills, sore throat, dry cough, no taste sensation for 3 weeks, blood clots in the nose and other places (hemorrhoid). I had been taking vit D and melatonin before I got sick and I partly credit that to it only being a moderate case since I was 55 and had high blood pressure, and respiratory problems, but did not end up in the hospital. I also took other vitamins (B’s, C, K2), herbs and minerals like zinc, magnesium, vitamin A, astragalus (interferon inducer, anti-inflammatory, immune booster)), grape seed extract (supports nitric oxide synthesis which inhibits COVID), licorice root NAC (N-acetyl cysteine). I’m glad I was prepared with all this ahead of time since I knew I had health issues and didn’t trust the medical system. I researched most of this for months before I got sick.I feel bad that the public is being mostly treated with these expensive drugs like Remdesivir that don’t do anything to improve the immune response and the body’s own natural defenses to overcome this. I thank God for showing me wisdom for what to take.
