  1. Not discounting Vitamin D3; though it may be more effective in the long run to use Chaga and AHCC mushroom complex.

  2. Nothing prevents someone from taking enough supplements to have adequate Vit D and having a flu shot. Even partial protection from a flu vaccine may be better than none. Exercise, good sleep, healthy diet and bunch of other things can also help.
I do understand that some flu shots may have some harmful chemicals and may not always work. So maybe most can get away without getting one. But to extend this thinking to all vaccines as many do, is most dangerous. Small Pox, Polio, Diphtheria, Tetanus, etc is really no fun.

    1. The question is why should the government be allowed to decide which risks one should take. The flu shot is at best 40% effective, if the flu strain that’s in the shot is the one you’re exposed to. Added to that is that it is one of the few vaccines that is still preserved with mercury. Get a flu shot every year and eventually become the mad hatter? I really don’t know, but I do know that if mercury is so dangerous, they won’t even allow it in thermometers, then I don’t want it put in my veins.

      1. I don’t know about the thermometer thing, but they do still require it in the florescent bulbs we are mandated to use… if they say you need a hazmat unit for clean up for a florescent bulb and it contains less than one drop of mercury.. why are we mandated to use it, it may be safer.. but is it really?

      1. You are likely correct about me, but is that how your mother taught you to talk to people?
By the way, my career included 40 years as a research and development scientist. What are your credentials that give such fine ability to judge the intelligence of strangers?

    2. I take 2000 IU of vitamin D everyday of the year. I have not had a flu shot since 2000 and I have not had the flu. A strong immune system, a good diet, and good hand washing are better than the flu shot. Since I’ve been giving my son 5000 IU of vitamin D, he has not had a day of illness in four years.

  3. Why then in video didn’t they mention how many units to take. I’m taking 2,000 units now, Dr.’s orders, can I take more for good measure?
