Ebola: WHO Turns To Experimental Drugs, But Not Proven Natural Remedies

Abstract virus Could some of the world’s oldest antivirals stop the spread of this deadly disease?
The World Health Organization (WHO) says Ebola virus disease (EVD) has a fatality rate of up to 90%. The virus is transmitted through direct physical contact (through broken skin or mucous membranes) with the blood or other bodily fluids of infected animals or humans, and through indirect contact with environments contaminated with such fluids.
The current outbreak in West Africa is the world’s deadliest to date. More than 1200 people have died so far this year, and the WHO has declared an international health emergency. There are no effective cures; treatment is mostly palliative or supportive, minimizing the dehydration from the vomiting and diarrhea that typically present with the disease.
As the world starts looking for other treatments, the Catch-22 of drug economics (no one will spend the exorbitant sums needed to run clinical trials if the product can’t be patented and turned into a huge money-maker) practically ensures that natural treatments will be ignored. But could some of our oldest natural antivirals be used at least to inhibit the transfer of the virus—or even cure it?
Silver, as we reported last year, has been used as an antimicrobial for thousands of years. It’s a powerful antibiotic, attacking all kinds of bacteria in a three-pronged attack. More and more research (study 1; study 2; study 3; study 4; study 5) is also heralding silver’s promise as a method of disinfecting water of both bacteria and viruses. Since disinfecting contaminated environments is the most effective method of halting Ebola’s spread, silver could be a most potent weapon in the battle.
Silver has also showed great promise as an antiviral, in both attacking the virus and in inhibiting transmission. So far, silver has been tested on HIV (study 1; study 2; study 3; study 4) and herpes (study 1; study 2; study 3). Silver has also been used to clear HPV warts; inhibit the replication of the hepatitis B virus; kill the H1N1 virus; fight ocular infection; and kill the tacaribe virus, which also causes hemorrhagic fever, as well as the bacteriophage viral strain.
Dr. Josepha A. Mercola notes that commonsense basics like hygiene, nutrition, vitamin D, and vitamin C are often overlooked in Ebola outbreaks. For full therapeutic impact, the vitamin C should be intravenous. Thomas E. Levy, MD, a board-certified internist and cardiologist, is particularly excited about high doses of vitamin C as a potential treatment for EVD:
To date, not a single virus has been tested that is not inactivated [killed] by a large enough dose of vitamin C (ascorbic acid). Many other antioxidants have similar virucidal effects, but vitamin C appears uniquely to be of greatest potency and clinical efficacy, as its simple chemical structure allows for it to be disseminated throughout the body with little restriction.
Intravenous vitamin C (which has the advantage of concentrating the C where it is needed before the body can eliminate it) is presumably too complicated to deliver successfully in the regions where Ebola is currently raging. But silver could cure this plague before it takes hold as a pandemic. Inexpensive, plentiful, natural, and effective against all kinds of viruses and bacteria: no wonder the drug industry will not support these natural remedies!
Meanwhile, the drug industry does see a potential market for itself. All that is needed is to sidestep the usual extended and costly approval process. In August, the WHO convened an advisory panel of twelve experts to consider whether it is appropriate to test promising or innovative treatments on these Ebola patients, even though several of the drugs have had no human trials yet. The panel concluded that it is indeed ethical to use such experimental drugs in this current outbreak. This week the WHO will hold a major conference with over 100 international experts, who will discuss how best to provide access to experimental therapies for EVD.
One of the more widely known drugs on the market for Ebola, ZMapp, has shown mixed results, and the sample sizes have been extraordinarily small—perhaps as small as six patients. A ZMapp-based anti-Ebola antibody combination was used on two American missionaries who contracted the disease. Both were improved enough to be released from the Emory University Hospital, though the lead physician was more emphatic as to the role of strong, supportive care in their recovery rather than the ZMapp. A third ZMapp recipient died.
The company that makes ZMapp, Mapp Biopharmaceutical, Inc., has received $10 million from the Department of Defense to develop the drug, which means the federal government will likely have some say in how the drug is distributed. The WHO will certainly take up the question at their September 4-5 summit, where distribution will be a major issue—despite the fact that its success rate is questionable at best.
Another experimental drug, TKM-Ebola, has been tested on monkeys and a handful of healthy human volunteers. It targets the virus’s RNA, interrupting its genetic code and preventing it from making disease-causing proteins. A small, early safety trial on a small number of human volunteers was put on hold last month when regulators requested further safety data. A US-based pharmaceutical company has developed a similar RNA treatment. In addition, scientists have been working on a number of prototype vaccines. The WHO says further trials would start soon and potential vaccines may be available in 2016.
Meanwhile, silver and intravenous C are available right now, but we don’t see the WHO getting behind them.

  1. Hi, Silver hurt me…may not be safe for people. I built it up in my body and needed EDTA/DMPS IV chelations to remove it. Nothing oral helped to remove the silver. Vit A is great…kind with lecithin may help it absorb better. Serrapeptase may help and hyperbaric chamber and more. I agree. Alternative medicine may help stop the spread of Ebola.

    1. Sasha what kind of silver & how much & how long did u take it? It sounds like U used an inferior product. I & others have been using it for years & it simply keeps us healthy- that’s all.

  2. Yes, I see the in vitro work withsilver against tacaribe virus. Ten to twelve grams of Vitamin C is about the limit before bowel intolerance.
Where is the in vivo evidence of either against ebola?
One can pontificate about these issues when one is not exposed to ebola, but out on the front lines?
Try whatever might work, and save lives if we can, but reinforcing the artificial divide between synthetic and more-or-less natural possible cures is counterproductive.

    1. Yes, but the blood level of vitamin C maxes out after about half a gram via the oral route. See:
      http://www.pnas.org/content/93/8/3704.full.pdf
The rest is metabolized to oxalate, which raises the risk of kidney stones. If you want high levels of vitamin C in the bloodstream, you must get it via the intravenous route.
It does make sense to try vitamin C against Ebola. Ebola attacks the vascular endothelium, the one-cell-thick inner lining of the blood vessels, which is why it causes the blood vessels to leak. Vitamin C reverses endothelial dysfunction in a variety of in vivo experimental paradigms, so it does make sense to try vitamin C as well as other natural products that also have shown such effects in vivo, such as 5-methytetrahydrofolate and sepiapterin. Spinach is a rich source of the former (though it contains a rather high level of oxalate too). I grow the sepia mutant of Drosophila to obtain the latter.

      1. I recently read from several sources that Radishes dissolve kidney stones. Eat, juice & smoothie them…

      2. No, the IV route for C is no longer the only choice. Liposomal vitamin C does in fact work and provides IV-like impact. We don’t sell anything but on our free site with free Protocols, we identify liposomal C for Shingles [you buy the liposomal C yourself from the web] and have tracked a number of clients who have demonstrated its effectiveness.

  3. Thank you for pointing out the very clear and obvious natural remedies that are being ignored for pecuniary reasons. At least some people using their intelligence can help themselves using natural antiviral remedies!

  4. You say: As world starts looking for other treatments, the Catch-22 of drug economics (no one will spend the exorbitant sums needed to run clinical trials if the product can’t be patented and turned into a huge money-maker) practically ensures that natural treatments will ignored. That’s not true at all. If you discover a new use for an existing natural product, that’s patentable! Here’s a patent that was issued just a few weeks ago that claims Andean shilajit can treat Alzheimer’s Disease and other causes of memory loss and dementia:
    http://www.google.com/patents/US8784804
This claim that natural products can’t be patented keeps coming up again and again, and there isn’t a bit of truth to it. New uses for existing natural products are patentable, as are new combinations of existing natural products. Patent lawsuits occur all the time among companies making natural supplements, such as the krill oil manufacturers:
    http://www.naturalproductsinsider.com/news/2013/02/krill-patent-battle-rages-on.aspx
    Or the astaxanthin manufacturers:
    http://www.bizjournals.com/pacific/print-edition/2012/07/13/cyanotech-corp-embroiled-in-ip-lawsuits.html?page=all
If you find a natural product that is an effective treatment for Ebola, that’s a patentable new use. Go for it!

    1. New uses for a natural product are patentable but when one goes to do this, as we have, the public literature just needs one article that made the claim that X could be used for Y and then that eliminates the patent’s ability to claim that it is not obvious or not already in the public sector, etc. Also, if you did in fact patent X for Y, then Big Pharma need only add X1 and X2 for curing Y — that is, the patent cannot at all easily be defended versus if you have a synthetic constructed module unique to your own patent. Finally as we have run trials many times, the cost of a trial that the FDA will embrace as definitive proof runs easily to tens of millions or more depending on the details with little hope of defending it. The reality is far different from patent THEORY.

  5. Its time for people to be responsible for something like there very own life. It should be pretty plain by now , that nobody else is . Think about it if people could depend on our education system to educate kids basic health and nutrition info, the fast food industry wouldn’t be staple it would be the treat. Doctors are not able treat only repeat half truths from cooked studies. the facts are there , how long does history have to repeat its self? apparently one more generation.

  6. Your comment, “Meanwhile, silver and intravenous C are available right now, but we don’t see the WHO getting behind them. has already been answered by CDC, and the Pharmaceutical industry because it does not give them the control they want to provide answers. The best thing we can do for ourselves is to “be your own doctor” and continue to use natural products for your good health. There doesn’t seem to be enough politically open-minded people in
DC to use any commonsense to handle the EBOLA outbreak and unfortunately the people in the epidemic area will continue to die as we just stand idly by — it’s our corrupt, evil, selfish leadership who has these deaths on their hands and will receive the judgment to come in due time.

  7. Silver and intravenous Vitamin C should be used first of all in treatment if they have such a promising record. Only when they don’t work should potentially dangerous experimental treatments be used. Making money off very deadly and scary diseases should never be tolerated by us, the world’s citizens. People who do this should be severely prosecuted.

  8. NanoViricides is a candidate for an Ebola fix. Not a vaccine. Like a Venus Flytrap for viruses.
‘A “nanoviricide” is an agent designed by the Company to fool a virus into attaching to this antiviral nanomachine, in the same way that the virus normally attaches to the receptors on a cell surface. Once attached, the flexible nanoviricide glob wraps around the virus and traps it. In the process, the virus also loses its coat proteins that it needs to bind to a cell. The virus is thus neutralized and effectively destroyed. A nanoviricide completes the task of dismantling the virus particle without immune system assistance.’ – http://nanoviricides.com

  9. I’m not a Dr. But common sense begins with just that, common sense . There is not much time and too many lives can be lost why not try simple solutions first!. The Silver and Vitamin C sound like a good start… Why not start there! No there’s not much money but what if your all too late and You loose your family to this deadly disease!!!!!!
    Try something and quickly!

  10. Thank you for bringing up the obvious. Surprise! Surprise! The drug companies don’t want to get behind any treatment they can’t make millions from. Silver and Vitamin C has been around for many many years with a good track record. There shouldn’t have to be any trial period to use either one. It would probably start saving lives right away. Greed is rearing it’s ugly head again. Thank you so much for getting this message out to the world. Hopefully, the countries involved will allow the teams of health care workers to give silver and Vitamin C a try there and maybe save a lot of people from dying from this terrible disease. God be with them.

  11. I applaud your organization for telling the truth re refusal to use natural possibilities that are already available…I am saddened by the greed that adds to the number who die. Has any person tried something on a patient that they were responsible for (i.e. family) with the tools natural med could use, or does government and pharma hold power over these patients.

  12. An experiment at a lab in Canada (1996) and repeated at the CDC in Atlanta (1998) introdueced ebola into animals that had no contact with each other all died of ebola when it was introduced into one group of the separated animals. There is a very good chance the the virus can be contracted via breathing and in the eyes, and the two American doctors and nurse who have so far contracted ebola in West Africa, were not wearing level 4 viral protection face masks which is needed.
Also, lab results have demonstrated that ebola attacks the body like “scurvy on steroids,” seeking and eliminating all vitamin C in the body and then tearing apart the decimated immune system.
    Everyone, take your vitamin C

  13. Also……….HBOT (hyperbaric oxygen)
    Ultraviolet blood irradiation
    Grapefruit seed oil
    Black Seed oil

  14. Dr. Tom Levy has a wonderful book about Vitamin C (either IV or liposomal) and its ability to cure any bacterial or virus attack. Wouldn’t you think that they would try it just once?
Evern if the mainstream medicine in the U.S. is too ignorant, you would certain expect some doctor in Africa to try it.
Its biggest fault is it is not produced by any Big Pharma comapany.

  15. Nothing is new. The WHO never looks to natural solutions that often work quicker and better than drugs.

  16. This is wonderful news, that a natural cure for Ebola exists. I’d like to contribute to your people who are going over there with these cures to help the people in Africa. Where can I donate?

  17. Just read that the CDC repeated the above mentioned experiment in 2012 with the same results: Animals in a lab with no physical contact contracted ebola when one group was purposely infected. That makes three times this experiment has proven that ebola can be contracted via air.

  18. Don’f forget about Elderberry Extract, a powerful anti-viral. Sambucol, in particular, was developed by a doctor and has a potent form of the elderberry components that are anti-viral. Then there’s also the mushroom based AHCC, tested numerous times in multiple studies, particularly in Japan. Vit D, which you mentioned, is also hugely important, and for someone fighting Ebola, should probably be in the 50,000 iu range for several days, then backed off to 5,000-10,000 iu a day. And MCP (Modified Citrus Pectin) is another potent anti-viral and has numerous other benefits as well, including helping to clean arteries of plaque.
I’m guessing none of these are on the WHO’s list.

  19. Was just reading some info from Dr. Al Sears yesterday that Ebola seems to be a severe form of scurvy and that intravenous C is the best treatment.

  20. Enveloped viruses can be killed by your healthy fats if you don’t ruin Delta 6,5,4,3 enzymes w/sugars and processed garbage, take in good PEOs (parent essential oils – live Lineolic Acid and Alpha Lineolinic Acids – Omega 6s and Omega 3s.) The “armor” of the enveloped viruses (H1N1, Hep B, Hep C, Ebola, etc) is a fat. If your fats are bad – they will cross your weak phospholipid cell walls and invade the cell. If your cell walls are strong and the other factors are there – the lipid “armor” of the virus gets taken apart by your cells and the virus is attacked/killed.
Look at the Oct 2009 Special Edition – and i get the impression that Paul doesn’t agree with everything brian says about fats and we discussed nothing besides the fats.
    http://www.brianpeskin.com/BP.com/e-newsletter-archive.html

    1. AND why no mention about ozone? Ozone machines kill pathogens in your environment very well. Probably more effectively than silver since they can be constantly generated and moved around with air flow.

      1. There are many aspects to healing and avoiding illnesses. I do not believe that any single practice or substance is the answer on its own. I’m sure your info re: fats and Ebola has validity as fats play a vital role in our health for a multitude of reasons. Every thing that truly nourishes any part of our body is also, in effect, a healer. So while taking something specific for any condition, know that it will always work better if your diet is clean and natural and full of vital nutrients from food and supplementation. The key seems to be in a balanced synergy and there is no single synergistic formula that is the only one that works or which works for everyone equally.

  21. Dr. Josepha A. Mercola notes that commonsense basics like hygiene, nutrition, vitamin D, and vitamin C are often overlooked in Ebola outbreaks. I feel natural /organic remedies will kill large medical costs, Natural treatments belong in the medical fields.

    1. You know I’m serious about contributing to a fund that would send these proven ebola cures over to Africa. I’m beginning to suspect though, that we’re all just talk. Who is taking these cures over there? The only people I see who are putting their lives on the line are western medical tradition trained doctors. Are you surprised they are not using natural remedies? We need a group of naturally trained professionals to go over there and help the people who are dying. If we know the cure and do nothing, we are full of ****. Maybe the truth is we just like to talk about how bad our opposites are without getting off our butts. I’m tired of this.

      1. Several years ago a fairly large group of us helped raise funds for natural health products to be administered to orphans in Africa, The response was amazing. These children had serious diseases including AIDS. What was most remarkable is that many of the children needed very little product to improve their health condition. Of course, we cannot say natural supplements can cure, treat or mitigate a disease (even when it’s true); I think it is because of the widespread suppression of accurate natural health information, we do not hear as much about efforts in Africa and overseas. It is incredibly gratifying work.

  22. If the WHO is allowing the use of untested, experimental drugs, what can possibly be their reason not to use untested (?) natural remedies such as colloidal silver and intravenous vitamin C? Oh, I remember now, greed, and the horrible possibility that the natural will be far more effective than the pharmaceutical!

    1. Why doesn’t organizations like WHO or the CDC listen to advocates of natural alternatives that work?
It is not the way those people were trained. They were all taught that hard science and pharmaceuticals are the only way to go. Natural remedies are shunned, considered to be folk lore and old wives tales not to mention unwanted competition to the pharmaceutical industry. Monstrous biases abound.
In addition, people expect instant gratification which generally occur when medications cover up symptoms and as natural remedies do not mask symptoms and take time to effect real changes in the body, they are considered inferior and ineffective by mainstream medicine and their uninformed patients.
The members of these national and world health organizations were all pressured and manipulated in their medical training to follow a mainstream single mind set of (un)consciousness regarding medicine and to dismiss alternative and natural medicine.
It would take a real rebel of major status within any major health organizations to dare to attempt to get their attention and merely consider trying something more natural and alternative. And more than likely such a person would be ignored, ostracized and probably “let go” … which would be seen as a lifelong career catastrophe and so it is very unlike that anyone with WHO or the CDC will lean in that direction.
Sad but true, we cannot enlighten the world or we would not be in the overall mess we exist in. The majority of people simply do not want to change their belief system, it’s too unsettling. And the authorities certainly will not as in truth, they are not necessarily really working in our favor and their loyalties more than often alight with the interests of BIG PHARMA,
The best we can do is take steps to care for ourselves the right and natural way, keep our immune systems strong, use whichever alternative methods we believe in and maybe try to enlighten some people on a personal level.
I wish you and yours well. Remain strong in your beliefs and do not lose hope for only the strong of heart shall prevail.

      1. They have tried. Dr Rima (drrimatruthreports.com) went with 10ppm nano silver. The country initially approved and at the last minute pulled the approval. Dr Robert Rowen went to administer ozone therapy, which he has used to heal his own patients here. The same thing happened, they trained local doctors and nurses and then the plug was pulled. I believe the World Health Organization was the actual plug puller, as it is controlled by Big Pharma.

  23. The people in this country are as malnourished as people in Africa with the standard American diet. We just get poisoned with their drugs better and we die a more expensive death. We need to take back the corrupt government that we have created. Why is this country veering to the left? Isnt that why we have been fighting communism and the countless of American soldiers that have died. Why is this country veering to the left. Healthcare should be given back to each state. How about free education. Can you imagine the technology that the American ingenuity would create? This planet is what it is because of American inventiveness, ingenuity, resourcefulness, creativity, initiative, spirit, freedom and you could go on and on with this list. Why are we veering to the left?

    1. The “right” as opposed to the “left” is actually more restrictive & more favorably swayed to big money corporations and big pharma. The “right” would like nothing more than to sqaush the little guy – the inventor, the healers, etc..!!

  24. What would be the best way to “Take Action” to advocate and encourage that the WHO and CDC explore some of these other alternatives?

  25. Interesting article, but it left out the most potent pharmacopeia in natural medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM). TCM has a wide array of antivirals and a 2500 year history of clinical trials and effectiveness. I have personally written thousands of herb formulas for various viral conditions from common cold, digestive, Epstein-Barr, and hep c. It was used extensively for the SARS epidemic in China with great effect.
TCM is the best kept medical secret in America, apparently even in the alternative medicine community.
I cannot assert it’s effectiveness for Ebola, but that would be my first stop, although silver does also seem promising.

    1. Professor Rustum Roy, head of the Pennsylvania State University, Materials Science Department, performed extensive studies on nano-catalytic silver hydrosols. The Penn State team of researchers originally began their studies with six commercially available colloidal silver preparations, but quickly recognized the striking differences of one particular product, the elemental nano silver mentioned above, and focused exclusively on that technology. Their four year peer reviewed and published study, along with an antiviral study performed at Utah State University can be read here: http://www.lifesilver.com/v1/studies.htm There is a great deal of published scientific research, performed exclusively on these products, at the linked page.
While this silver preparation will not kill virii, it will inhibit their ability to replicate. This makes it the only known, nontoxic, effective protocol for virus prophylaxis. If already infected, it greatly reduces the recovery time.
It is interesting to note that in 2000, when the African hospital successes with final stage malaria patients, using this medical silver technology was published, the WHO immediately requested samples and all research data to date. This was provided. Their response was chirping crickets.
It is my opinion, based on years of observations and personal experience, that the use of this particular silver technology, in conjunction with high dose intravenous vitamin C, is probably the most promising effective therapy for Ebola infection. Pfizer and Merck are most likely already aware of this, as they currently in joint venture product development projects with the manufacturer, but loathe any possible internal application of this silver technology. It would destroy their lucrative antibiotic and vaccine markets.

    2. Three things nice to have on hand alleged to kill most pathogens you are likely to get whether they are bacteria, viruses, mold, etc. One of them is Sodium Chlorite, which is very vile tasting, but allegedly works as well, if not better, when gassed off to Chlorine Dioxide and tastes much better than the sodium chlorite mixture. How to videos for both can be found on youtube.com/videos and they are very correct in telling you to be sure you have a good ventilation system to gas it off into cholrine dioxide. If you do this outside, as I do, you want to make sure you aren’t working where the fumes can enter the soffits of your eaves.
A second one is SSKI (saturated solution of potassium iodide). For a good reference on how to use SSKI, which is essentially the same as Lugol’s solution, go on line and look up Dr. Jonathan Wright’s article on SSKI. It is a 6 page article which I suggest you print out for future reference, because if your computer goes down, you won’t be able to look it up when you need it most.
The 3rd one is food grade 35% hydrogen peroxide. The biggy here is to handle the food grade 35% carefully while reducing it down to 3.5% to use. For those whose stomachs will not tolerate the H202 orally, the inhalant method works well, and so far I have found no harm in using it that way. For those having trouble finding how to reduce the 35% food grade, just use 1 ounce of the 35% hydrogen peroxide and ask 10 ounces of distilled water. You can find more on using it inhalant method on earthclinic.com.

  26. It is my understanding that almost all ascorbic acid and citric acid is created from GMOs. Is this true?

    1. Dear Sharon, Re: vitamin C,Ascorbic acid, which comes from corn and might be from GMO corn, is safe too take.
I take 12,000 mg daily. The vitamin c, Ascorbic acid is extrated leaving ALL the DNA of corn behid!
      Hope this answers your Question.
      Chas.

      1. When in doubt, DON’T!! Avoid any possible GMO based products.
Food based vitamin C from a reliable (organic or wild crafted) is better than acerbic acid because it contains the synergistic compounds that make vitamin C work at its best.
We can also make our own food based vit C from orange peels, rose hips … Do a little research for yourself and be amazed at how many natural sources there are for vitamin C and learn much it matters what the sources of your all supplements are as well as how superior the available food based supplements are in terms of absorption and effectiveness in doing the job.

  27. And don’t forget pure essential oils.
Cinnamon & Oregano oils are super powerful anti-viral natural options. Also Clove, Melissa, Thyme, Lime, Lemon, Helichrysum, Eucalyptus, Basil, Cassia, and Melaleuca.
All of these are in my Emergency Preparedness NATURAL first aid kit!!

  28. The most powerful and the most effective Herb which God gave us for all these problems
is OLIVE LEAF, the label should say STANDARDIZED EXTRACT. Take plenty of it through out the day, it stops these problems dead in its tracks ! It comes in tablets capsules and liquid.
    Take this very serious!

  29. Ebola kills because the body over-reacts to the virus with a “pro-inflammatory cytokine storm” — but astaxanthin suppresses pro-inflammatory cytokines while promoting the good types of these small proteins. In other words, astaxanthin is a cytokine regulator. Do a search on these three words together: cytokine astaxanthin study.

      1. The best form of colloidal silver has been shown to be more powerful than any modern antibiotic in curing diseases. It can be applied topically or ingested but extensive ingestion over a long period can turn a person’s skin a silverish color. It is a shame that the AMA and FDA ignore this fantastically powerful cure, however it wouldn’t make millions for the agribusiness or the big drug companies and therefore it probably won’t be used for Ebola treatment or prevention.

        1. I wanted to add that, many years ago, I also had good luck killing colds, flu, etc. with large doses of Vitamin C. However, I have had to use other methods recently because I had kidney stones twice and the specialist advised me not take large doses of Vit. C anymore because it contains a binder that can cause kidney stones when combined with calcium.
When I used to take heavy doses of Vit. C,, I even killed the dreaded Hong Kong flu within hours after catching it from my wife (I took some 15,000 to 16,000 mg a day for 2 days). I did this successfully several times with various cases of flu. I was also taking a daily maintenance dose of C on a continuous basis of 1,000 or so mg per day.

          1. Vitamin C actually disolves kidney stones. Western medical professionals are taught that it causes them but it really does not. Ask Dr Andrew Saul. He’ll tell you the truth on Vitamin C. Vitamin C will help get rid of kidney stones. http://www.doctoryourself.com/kidney.html I mean no disrespect by leaving a link to the article on vitamin c and kidney stones. I am just trying to give reference to the Doctor that tells about the false scare on vitamin c and kidney stones. I hope it will pass moderation. Thanks.

  30. The WHO could easily test IV Vit C with ebola. While high G6PD areas like the where african nations ebola originated pose an issue, doses of 15g per day…particularly if spread out every 6h…would probably be fine.
The government can easily fund research into IV Vit C for ‘incurable’ diseases…for example the NIH funded Fowler’s trials of IV ascorbic acid in treatment of sepsis, with good results so far. The drug company conspiracy thing is somewhat of a myth. However, if the drug companies knew what was good for them they would fund more trials on iv vit c as it would help to break the stereotype that they are rapacious, ruthless, and greedy companies that couldnt care less about patients.
