You spoke, and the FDA finally listened. Action Alert!
The FDA has belatedly shown common sense and compassion by granting patients access to Dr. Burzynski’s potentially lifesaving antineoplaston cancer treatment.
Recently we told you about dying patients being denied access to the innovative antineoplaston (ANP) treatment of Dr. Stanislaw Burzynski, a trail-blazing cancer doctor repeatedly and unfairly attacked by the FDA and mainstream media. The attacks even continued after Dr. Burzynski put his treatment into an FDA trial.
The patients denied access to ANP because they aren’t already participants in a now-closed FDA trial included 12-year-old McKenzie Lowe and 47-year-old Liza Cozad-Lauser. They suffer from DIPG, an aggressive and inoperable cancer of the brainstem. Since ANP treatment has been known to cure DIPG, they asked FDA for special access (known as a compassionate use exemption) to ANP. For months, while valuable time wasted away, the agency completely ignored them.
Please note the irony here. Before putting this treatment into a traditional FDA drug trial, Dr. Burzynski was treating and, in many cases, curing cancer patients. The FDA didn’t like that—so they tried to put him out of business. The agency demanded a drug trial, and once they got it, took the position that no patient outside the trial could receive ANP, despite its unique record of success. The agency showed not the slightest interest in helping dying patients, despite the existence of the compassionate use exemption, which was specifically built into law for that very reason.
With this as background, we asked for your help, and you sent in tens of thousands of messages to Congress, demanding they investigate the FDA’s refusal to grant exemptions. As a result of these and other messages, last week the FDA quietly informed the families of 8 patients that their exemptions were granted.
Sadly, some of these exemptions appear to have come too late. Six-year-old Refael Elisha Cohen has already slipped into a coma, and is unlikely to benefit from the treatment.
Additionally, the FDA is not permitting Dr. Burzynski to administer the ANP treatment himself; all of the patients granted a compassionate exemption will need to find another doctor. And, while Ms. Cozad-Lauser has already found a doctor willing to administer ANP treatment, the family of McKenize Lowe is having difficulty (this isn’t surprising, considering the FDA’s ongoing persecution of Dr. Burzynski).
What do these exemptions mean for the future of ANP treatment? According to a source with direct knowledge of the negotiations, Dr. Burzynski’s clinic is in talks with the FDA about additional clinical trials on ANP. Tragically, these trials will come too late for those currently with late-stage cancer.
Action Alert! The FDA’s decision is a victory for natural health advocates, but the fight has just begun: we must continue to pressure Congress and the FDA to allow patient access to potentially lifesaving treatments.
Why isn’t he required to publish the results of his other 70+ clinical trials before he is allowed to open more? What about the child who died as a direct result of the treatment?

No surprise here at all – whenever there si a conflict of interest as in the sase of FDA officials chosen from Big Pharma as those in charge; why would they want to find a cure for cancer and save lives when they can just as easily kill people off at a huge burden and expense using chemo-therapy (a drug coctail usually resulting in the death of the patient) and radiation therapy (which kills surrounding healthy organs and tissue) to the tune of a few hundred thousand dollars per patient. Especially when there IS a cure for cancer, but they do not want it exposed for fear of losing billions of dollars in greed and blood money to keep their coffer full.
A step in the right direction, and not too soon in time. Enough people applying enough pressure, and they cannot deny us our rights to alternative treatment for every disease. Cures that work.
I have been promoting this miracle man for over a decade. And will continue to my last breath.

Although I greatly appreciate your org,I’ve been having ever increasing problems with this site…AND, I see no”contact”label at top or bottom of page…also,my “info”IS NOT”prefilled”as are most sites…A Contact label at top is Basic Stuff;as are”prefilled info…..AND.when I add to”PERSONAL COMMENT,when I go to sign AND.,fill out info AGAIN,my comment addition is deleted….I’m on Android phone&have”cookies enabled and Java Script functioning.I’ve sent a prior email[or 2] regarding this and,I surmise that if I’m not the only one with this problem that it’s in your programming…If not,please email/advise me so I can trace this…I do many hours of this a day and,tho I really don’t want to,I’ve have HAD TO axe those that are”persistently nonfunctional”as,it’s just too aggravating when trying to wade thru so much work and being thwarted by these problems.I’ve notified the sites that I’m having problems with that,as of April 1st,I won’t be dealing with petitions that aren’t”prefilled”with prior info or,that I have to repeat actions to complete…I deeply cherish the work we all do and,I know that you understand my point&position.Hopefully,this can be rectified..Best Wishes for Each Moment………p.s.This is all done on an Android Qwerty keyboard and,I take the time&effort to edit it so it’s intellegable and,with correct spelling&grammer.THOSE are MY standards that I require&expect from myself if I’m seriously trying to influence those beings in power who look for ANY excuse to discredit this work…I also adhere to those standards with my colleagues so,don’t take it”person’al…Lol….Again..,Best Wishes
I recently discovered the same problem with this and one more “radical” health-care site. Look at your ISP — I strongly believe these sites are targeted for elimination, thus the frustration in accessing the articles that you really want to read when “text only” headlines are all that you can see.

The pursuit of happiness, life and freedom is the ethos of what America stands for. To be compelled to not actively do otherwise would be going against one’s basic human’s rights.
I urge the FDA to not only permit Dr. Burzynski cancer treatment, but also encourage other forms of life-saving treatments not only for cancer treatments but other medical dis-eases.
I agree with Greg Dane…he’s got it right. Big Pharma is making money hand over fist..it’s part of the politics of cancer. And people keep dying because chemotherapy and radiation will most likely kill you before the cancer does. One doctor/researcher put it simply..CANCER IS ONLY A SYMPTOM……OF TOXICITY OF THE BLOODSTREAM. So does it make any sense to add more toxic chemotherapy drugs to the body, let alone radiation? The results of the standard protocol for treating cancer is pathetic, and mainstream medicine has done the same thing for decades. Big Pharma destroys, sues, defames, chases out of the country any doctor who comes up with a natural cure for cancer because BIG PHARMA CANNOT PATENT A NATURAL CURE. Mainstream Western physicians are trained by Big Pharma to push the Big Pharma’s agenda. Big Pharma cares about making money and having you buy pills or medicine from them for your entire lifetime. A couple of decades ago, Big Pharma realized that school aged children were an untapped market. So what did Big Pharma do? They tried to get teachers to diagnose hyperactivity in their students. Doctors put children and some preschoolers on Ridalin. Since then school shootings started and now it’s becoming the norm. Did anyone care to look for the cause of hyperactivity in those children?
